New Upcoming Event: Sensory Judging Simulation

A new online event is coming up on November 15, 2024 that’s free to attend for all Higher Elevation Club members. Sensory Judging Simulation: WBC is a two-hour practical workshop that is designed to help you practice your judging skills, gain insights into how to objectively evaluate competitors, and enhance your understanding of the judging philosophy.

During this workshop, we’ll dive deep into the judging process of World Barista Championship (WBC) routines by focusing on the Well Explained, Introduced, and Prepared categories of the Signature Beverage Course and the Barista Evaluation section of the WBC sensory scoresheet.

We will watch selected WBC competitor routines, score them live using the official WBC scoresheets, and then move into group deliberation to discuss scoring outcomes.
